“Superb dining experience, highly recommended!”: This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to and the best Japanese meal I've ever had! From the moment we arrived we were treated like VIPs by all the staff. Murakami (the head sushi chef) personally greets all diners upon arrival and checks up on you during your dinner. He is extremely friendly and you can sense the influence he has on the entire restaurant, as all the staff really work as a team. We sat at the counter and were given plenty of suggestions by the sushimen, and everything we ate was exquisitely prepared and tasted divine. Evidently all the ingredients are of very high quality and the team is very talented. And sitting at the counter allowed us to watch the artists at work. Yes, it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Thank you, Murakami & team, I cannot wait to go back to your restaurant.

“Unbelievably good food, great atmosphere”: This is one of my favorite restaurants in SP and one of the best Japanese restaurants I know. The food is amazing, I have never eaten anything less than delicious here. I would especially recommend the sashimi on the "pedra de sal" (salt rock). The service is very professional and efficient and the atmosphere is great!

“Creative Brazilian gastronomy”: We went for dinner at D.O.M. and chose the degustation menu.The food was very good, very creative, and certainly different from anything I've eaten before. The courses ranged from very good to excellent, and yet I didn't think the food lived up to the hype. The restaurant itself is hidden away in a small street but the interior is beautiful. We saw Alex Atala at the bar and through the glass in the kitchen (but he didn't meet & greet the diners as some celebrity chefs do).
